Financial Controller
The Financial Controller will oversee the organization’s financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and financial control functions to ensure accuracy, transparency, and effective financial governance. This role is responsible for driving financial planning, project accounting, cash flow management, tax compliance, audit coordination, and risk management while providing strategic financial insights to support business performance and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements.
- Manage intercompany transactions and transfer pricing compliance.
- Design and implement robust financial policies to mitigate risk and prevent fraud.
- Coordinate the budget process, monitor variance analyses, and forecast cash flow.
- Ensure all financial practices comply with government regulations and manage relationships with internal/external auditors.
- Ensure Project Accounting & Margin Management through accurate project analysis for ongoing and new projects.
- Monitor fixed-fee project billing and calculate monthly gross margins per project and client account.
- Review project cost-to-complete estimates with delivery leads
- Apply IFRS 15 rules to multi-element IT contracts and align revenue timing with technical milestone completions
- Coordinate and ensure all necessary tax filings, compliance of all fiscal regulations including TDS and VDS local, state, and international tax filings, and tax credit documentations.
- Ensure SBU wise accounting, reporting and budget control of the business.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance & Accounts from a reputed institution.
- 12–15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial position, preferably in the IT/software or related sectors.
- CA/CMA/ACCA, or CFA is preferred.
Technical & Functional Expertise
- Strong expertise in IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition.
- Hands-on experience in Project Accounting & Margin Management.
- Proven experience in Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning.
- Strong knowledge of Tax Compliance, Financial Reporting, and Regulatory Requirements.
